Sources ‘non classiques’ de l’histoire :les Bwa du Mali

L’histoire du peuplement des formations dites segmentaires ou sans État comme les Bwa est bien difficile, parce que se pose la question des sources. La singularité de ces peuples est la pauvreté des sources classiques en histoire (récits structurés, objets symboliques, dynasties ou listes de rois, etc.). Il faut donc s’appuyer sur un certain nombre de sources dites « non classiques » telles que pour les Bwa : les noms-devises, le banranmarobe "complexe modulé et crié", les totems et les mythes, etc.. The history of some ethnic groups called “tribes” or stateless like the Bwa is quite difficult because of the lack of sources. The specificity of these people is the scarcity of classical sources in history (structured accounts stories, symbolic objects, dynasties or list of kings, etc.). It is therefore necessary to resort to a number of “non classical” sources such as, in the case of the Bwa : compound names, the banranmarobe "modulated and shouted complex", totems and myths, etc.
