What is digital accessibility?

An accessible website is one that enables people with disabilities to access its content and functions without difficulty.
For example, an accessible site enables :
navigate with a voice synthesizer and/or Braille display (used in particular by blind and partially-sighted people).
customize the site's display according to your needs (enlarging characters, changing colors, etc.).
navigate without using the mouse (with the keyboard only, via a touch screen, by voice or any other adapted device).

Accessibility statement

The Institut français undertakes to make its websites accessible in accordance with article 47 of law no. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.
To this end, it will draw up a strategy and action plan to be implemented.

Compliance status

The site is not currently compliant with the Référentiel Général d'Amélioration de l'Accessibilité (RGAA). The compliance audit will be scheduled shortly, and the declaration will be put online. Corrections will be taken into account following the audit.

Right to compensation

Pending full compliance, you can obtain an accessible version of documents or information contained therein by sending an e-mail to culturetheque@institutfrancais.com, indicating the name of the document concerned and/or the information you would like to obtain. The requested information will be sent to you as soon as possible.

Improvement and contact

You can help us to improve the accessibility of the site by notifying us of any problems you encounter. To do so, send us an e-mail to culturetheque@institutfrancais.com.
